<h3>Sadaqah Jaariyyah: A Lasting Reward</h3>Sadaqah Jaariyyah, or ongoing charity, is one of the most powerful forms of giving in Islam, providing continuous rewards even after a person has passed away. Unlike a one-time act of charity, it benefits people for years to come, ensuring that the giver continues to earn rewards from Allah.The Prophet ﷺ said:"When a person dies, all their deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them." (Muslim)This means that even when we leave this world, the rewards of our charity can continue to benefit us in the hereafter.<h3>Qur’anic Promise of Multiplication</h3>Allah ﷻ emphasises the immense reward of charity in the Qur’an:"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] that sprouts seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is All-Encompassing and Knowing." Haji Mohammad Anis Ullah was a kind-hearted and generous man who spent his life helping others. He was always there for those in need, offering support, kindness, and charity wherever he could. What better way to honour his legacy than by providing water—one of the greatest forms of charity in Islam? The Prophet ﷺ said:"The best charity is giving water to drink."
