Today, we gather with heavy hearts, yet with faith and hope, to remember a man who meant so much to all of us. Mohammad Abdul Saha Rahimahullah

Build a Masjid & Water Pump – Sadaqah Jariyah for Mohammad Abdul Saha (Rahimahullah)

We are raising funds to build a Masjid in Uganda with a water hand pump, dedicated as Sadaqah Jariyah for the deceased. This project will provide a place for prayer, Qur’an recitation, and community gathering, while also giving villagers access to clean water to perform Wudu, and to utilise for other needs such as fresh drinking water, cooking and to also provide water for animals.

Every prayer performed, every verse of Qur’an recited, and every drop of water used will be a continuous charity that benefits the deceased even after death.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.”
Sahih Muslim

By contributing, you will help create a lasting source of reward that benefits both the community and the one in whose name it is built.

Please donate and share. May Allah accept it as Sadaqah Jariyah and grant mercy to the deceased. Ameen.

He leaves behind a wife, eight children, and seven beloved grandchildren, a family that stands as a beautiful testament to the love, strength, and care he gave throughout his life. Just two months ago, he endured the loss of his own mother, and now we feel the weight of losing him. Yet, in our grief, we also find comfort in knowing that he returned to Allah in the blessed last day of Ramadan a time of mercy, forgiveness, and reward. We pray this is a sign of Allah’s love and acceptance of him.

He was a man of joy and warmth. He loved his family deeply, and one of the ways he showed this love was by bringing people together or making the effort to see his near and dear ones.

He was strong, proud, and independent. No matter what he went through, he carried his burdens quietly. He never showed his pain, choosing instead to remain a pillar of strength for his family. To them, he was protection, stability, and comfort.

He lived a life of dignity and love. And today, we remember that this life is temporary, but the hereafter is eternal. As Allah reminds us, every soul shall taste death, and we all return to Him.

His legacy lives on in his children, in his grandchildren, and in the values he instilled: love, unity, strength, and generosity. Every gathering, every shared meal, every moment of togetherness will carry his memory forward.

We ask Allah to forgive his shortcomings, to expand his grave, to fill it with light, and to grant him the highest place in Jannah, Al-Firdaws. May Allah grant sabr (patience) to his family, and reunite you all with him in the hereafter.

He may have left this world, but his impact and his love will remain with us forever.

“To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.”
